Dog Training Testimonials

Kelly Fulcher

Belle is a very friendly and active yellow lab and at 1 year old was proving to be almost too much for our family to handle. We were close to making the tough decision to find a new family for Belle.

As a last effort we sent her to Pam’s to be trained onsite rather than in a class atmosphere. When Belle came home, she was calmer and more obedient but her vivacious personality, friendliness and sweetness was still very evident.

In my opinion that is the best part of Pam’s training technique…that our dog was well trained but her spirit was not broken. She had (if possible) even more confidence and willingness to please. She now stays in the house with us, goes on family outings and even takes commands from our 4 year old son!

I say that Pam trained Belle and that is partly true but the main truth is that Pam trained us! The most amazing part of the training was Pam teaching us to work with Belle, giving us the tools we needed to make sure that Belle will be safe and happy with us for a long time.

We have much more confidence with Belle, knowing that training and working her are key parts to maintaining a happy master/dog relationship.

The training Deuce and Lola received at Circletop Farms was invaluable. Due to my constant travel (active duty military) and with a baby on the way, it was difficult to provide the training necessary to have a truly obedient, well behaved dog. With the training that Pam provided Deuce and Lola were able to focus and learn how to behave properly.

Being raised by just my wife and I, our dogs were very anxious around other people whom they did not know. These two were aggressive (lunging, nipping) towards strangers entering the home.

Through Pam’s extensive training we were able to ease most of that anxiety and their obedience training ensured we remained in control of them even during their most anxious moments.

Without this training we would have had to strongly consider re-homing one of our dogs and that would have been an extremely tough decision for us to make.

Thanks to Pam and the crew at Circletop Farms we have set a strong foundation of continued training and enjoying the companionship of two wonderful dogs.

We cannot thank you enough! Augie and Melissa

Pam’s comments:
These two dogs had been raised together from day one. Lack of proper socialization to strangers early in their lives created dogs who acted aggressively (barking, lunging) towards strangers. They learned by doing this behavior those things they were uncomfortable with went away!

Through training the Gonzalez’s were to take control of this ‘learned behavior’. Melissa and Augie will have to continue enforcement of the new learned behavior to keep the training in place and they have been absolutely faultless in their commitment to their two pets.

Despite moving, expecting a new baby, new jobs, and settling into their new home…”too busy” was not in their vocabulary. They did not give up. They are very dedicated as pet owners, and will continue the work necessary to keep Deuce and Lola adjusted to whatever changes occur in their family’s future.

I took my 3-year old schnauzer to Pam’s class and was pleased at how well my Halee learned. What was great about the class is Pam uses a dog for show and tell.

You actually see how it’s done so you can better work with your dog.  If you have a problem with any part of the training, Pam will show you with your dog how to correct the situation.

The best part of training is the owner learning to change their bad habit. I never dreamed my dog would sit and stay for 15 minutes while I walked out of her sight.

If you apply your homework you can’t go wrong.  Pam is very patient and she has a good way with any dog needing training.  I also saw great improvement in a dog Pam took into her home to train for an owner.  Give it a try and in a few weeks commitment you will have a happy dog.

I have boarded my two fur-children three times with Pam and family and they do very well while there.  They get to stay in the same crate like they do at home so they are comfortable.

Though happy to see me when I come back, I know they have been well cared for while I was gone. The facility is clean and warm and this family loves every dog or I should say animal that is brought in for boarding.

I have used the training sessions for one of my dogs and I can say that my spoiled schnauzer has to be by my side every second, actually did the sit and stay command for the 10 minutes required while I walked out of sight.

Unbelievable. You can rest assured that your pets will be loved and cared for while you are away.

“Of all the people in the Good Citizenship Class Pam thought I would be the one who gave up half way thru the class. Janelle was a one and half year old lab mix used to having her own way.

But with Pam’s dedication, clear instructions and one on one attention with  my dog, Janelle passed.

As a dog trainer Pam is very focused on the success of you and your dog. She has a simple approach to training and it works. Animals love her and so do her clients.”  Michelle Billings and Janelle

Awesome A Class Trainer Recently, I had the pleasure of meeting with Pam & having her take my 3 1/2 year old rottie, Nixie into her 10 week training program.

If I had it to do over again, there wouldn’t be a hesitation one. I would highly suggest her as a trainer to anyone looking for a trainer and even those who aren’t!
